Due to snow on the Peaks Trail the ride location has changed. The majority of you would like to ride Centennial Cone. As many as possible should carpool. Jeffco has handed out tickets for not parking in a designated parking area. I have a call in to the Jeffco Rangers to see about overflow parking for the group. Carpool parking will be at the Jeffco County Courthouse. The address is 100 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden, CO 80419-0002. For carpool meet at 7:45 and leave by 8 am. After the ride a great place to eat is Ali Baba Grill.
This is single track mountain bike riding. I have received a lot of email and can’t answer all of them. It’s great to get the response and hear from all. If there are any other questions please do email me and I will answer. If there are a lot of questions I will send out a group email so please don’t be offended if I don’t get back to you.
Centennial Cone Trail West Access – From West U.S. Hwy. 6 and State Hwy. 93 west of Golden, travel west on Hwy. 6 about 11 miles. Turn right at Hwy. 119, and travel about 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Douglas Mountain Road and travel about one mile to Centennial Cone Road. Turn right and travel and go about a mile to Centennial Cone Rd., the west entry to the park.

Greetings All
This Saturday the ride is from Frisco to Breckenridge on the Peaks Trail. What a FUN ride. The EZ rider group is going to do the Bike Path trail from the same parking lot in Frisco to Breckenridge. Take I-70 West to Frisco. Go to exit 201 which is the second exit in Frisco. Go under the interstate (south on Main St.) and the parking lot for the trail head will be on the left.
For those wanting to carpool meet at the Wooley Mammouth Parking lot. Located off of I-70 at the Morrison exit. After you get off I-70 go to the stop light and take a left onto Hwy 40 going West. There is a gas station on the right across from where we will meet to carpool. Try to get there between 7 and 7:15 am. We will need to be on the road by 7:30 to get to Frisco in time for the ride at 9 am.
Some are going to stay up in the area Thursday and Friday night and I might be one of them. After the ride there are lots of good places to eat. It should be a full day of fun and fellowship. Bring a friend!

IC3 Buffalo Creek MTB Ride May 21stThursday, May 19th, 2011Hello All
This Saturday we will go to Buffalo Creek trail. For carpooling meet Bicycle Village in Littleton at 7 am and we will be leaving by 7:20 am. The trailhead is just passed Pine, CO. Parking is at the intersection of CO 126 which also Deckers Rd and Hwy 550. Turn right onto 550 then you will see the trail head parking on the right. We will meet at 8:45 am and be riding by 9 am. ish…
This is the first ride of the year. Changes had to be made because the AFA is closed to the public. Buffalo Creek is a great trail and it holds up great with damp conditions. It’s beautiful country to ride. All are welcome to come and this is a no drop ride.
We can do lunch afterwards at several places.

Mtn Rec Ride May 12st Is Buffalo CreekWednesday, May 18th, 2011More to follow. The majority want’s to go to Buffalo Creek. A great trail in any weather. One of my favorites. 5-18-11 Falcon Ride This Saturday – Gotta Move The Sandbox We Play InTuesday, May 17th, 2011Hello Everyone
This is another change to the schedule. The AF Academy is not open to the public now. They call it “UNDER BRAVO”. You can only go to select parts on the North side and Falcon trail is closed unless you have a military ID.
So I thought I would give this to you and see where some of you would like to go Saturday. Please email me and I will get a tally then send out the new location. This also means the Road Rec Ride will be changing and I believe they have plans.
Blessings
