US Pro Cycling Challenge ride and watch.

At this point there are no formal plans to meet as a club to watch the stages and finish in downtown Denver.  However, a few people and myself will be riding stage 2 and 4.  If you’re interested in riding with us, contact me and I’ll give you start/meet up times and locations.  I’ve added a few mapmyride links so you can see the ride details.  We’ll be trying to reach these areas about an hour before the racers come though (so we have time to spare for flats etc.).  Since we’re on a time schedule we won’t be stopping for any dropped riders.  We can all regroup in the viewing areas.  All are invited.
 
Stage 2
Riding from Leadville up to the top of Independence Pass.  We’ll watch the racers come over the pass and ride back down.

Stage 4
Ride from Avon to the top of the 2nd and final climb of the stage.  This may be a good opportunity to see a breakaway as it’s a gradual downhill to Steamboat from this point.  We’ll be returning to Avon.
